When to Use This Guide – Filament Buffer Replacement:
Use this guide if the filament buffer or its structural parts are visibly damaged and causing functional failure, if Bambu Lab technical support has confirmed replacement is required, and you have a new filament buffer and an H2.0 Allen key ready.

Step 1: Remove the Filament Buffer – Removing the PTFE Tube
Press the left side of the material connector and pull out the input PTFE tube to disconnect it.

Step 2: Remove the Filament Buffer – Unscrew the Mounting Screws
Use an H2.0 Allen key to remove the two mounting screws shown.

Step 3: Install the Filament Buffer – Connect the Cable
Attach the cable to the buffer’s connector, making sure the lock is aligned and oriented correctly.

Step 4: Connect the PTFE Tube and Secure the Buffer
Snap the buffer into the mounting hole on the rear panel, and tighten the two screws using an Allen key, reconnect the PTFE tube to both ends of the filament buffer.
