Why Marvle3D?
Marvle3D—New Zealand’s expert since 2016, offering friendly support, in-store demos, and one of the country’s largest ranges.
Step 1: Remove the Status Indicator and Nozzle Offset Calibration Coil
Disconnect the status indicator connector, press from the back to release the rear clip, then push it backward to free the front clip and remove it. Next, use an H1.5 Allen key to remove the two M2×5 screws securing the nozzle offset calibration coil, lift the coil upward, and disconnect its connector.
Step 2: Remove the Rear Panel, Purge Chute, and AC Board Cover
Follow the AC Board/AC Board Cover replacement guide to remove the rear panel, purge chute, and AC board cover in sequence, skipping any AC board–related steps since they are not required for heatbed replacement. After removing the heating module power cables, use tweezers to press the clip on the heatbed power cable connector and disconnect all three power cables. Remove the heatbed ground wire from the clip, peel off the foam, then loosen the STW3×5 ground screw with an H2.0 Allen key to release the ground wire. Finally, loosen the BT3×12 cable clip screw with an H2.0 Allen key, open the clip, pull out the heatbed cables, and route them out through the side lining gap and the clip behind the Z-axis slider.
Step 3: Remove the Heatbed
Remove the two silicone plugs on the left and right sides using an H2.0 Allen key or tweezers, then loosen the six M3×8 screws securing the heatbed. Once the screws and all cables are free, lift the heatbed slightly, pull the heatbed cables out through the Z-axis slider, and remove the cables from the nylon ties one by one to avoid snagging in the narrow slider gap.
