Step 1: Remove the Extruder Gear Assembly
Use an H2.0 hex key to remove the four screws labeled E, loosen the screw labeled F, and take off the extruder front cover.
Step 2: Remove the Extruder Gear Assembly Components
Use tweezers to remove the extrusion spring and metal cap, then lift out the extruder gear assembly.
Step 3: Install the Extruder Gear Assembly
Install the drive gear and idler gear onto their shafts, then place the spring and end cap together in the correct orientation using tweezers, positioning them in the driven wheel bracket without tightening the side screw yet. Finally, close the extruder front cover.
