Removing the Screen Rear Housing
Step 1: Remove the Screen
Refer to the instructions for Replacing the Touchscreen to remove the screen. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/p2s/maintenance/replace-screen
Step 2: Remove the Touchscreen Rear Housing
Use an H1.5 Allen key to remove the three BT2x5 screws securing the screen rear housing. Then use the H1.5 Allen key to remove the two BT2x5 screws securing the screen ribbon cable interface board.
Hold the hinge and gently pull it upward to expose the slot below the screw hole. Then, carefully pry open the clips on both sides along the opening. Once both side clips are released, pull the rear housing downward to disengage the upper clips, then remove the rear housing.
Avoid prying the rear housing open by force, as this may cause damage.
Installing the Touchscreen Rear Housing
Step 1: Install the Touchscreen Rear Housing
Pass the screen ribbon cable interface board through the rear housing hinge (be sure to check the orientation), and align the interface board with the screw holes.
Insert the bottom of the screen rear housing into the screen first, ensuring it is flush. Then press along the edges to snap the clips into place.
Use an H1.5 Allen key to tighten the two BT2x5 screws securing the screen ribbon cable interface. Then, using the same Allen key, tighten the three BT2x5 screws securing the screen rear housing.
Step 2: Install the Screen
Refer to the instructions for replacing the screen to install the screen properly. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/p2s/maintenance/replace-screen
